Jim Saunders and Steve Hearst’s friendship began in 2009. They began Hearst Ranch Winery with a shared mission; to create the best wines possible from the central coast. Hearst Ranch Winery's hand-crafted wines have been brought to life by the collaboration of sound agricultural practices, impeccable winemaking, and the continued philanthropic involvement of Jim and Steve in their local communities. Hearst Ranch Winery’s Paso Robles tasting room is an intimate space with a wrap-around tasting bar and wooden table seating. Large picture windows frame in views of rolling hills dotted in oak trees, farm land, vineyards and the Salinas River. French doors lead to the outdoor patio nestled in old growth olive trees. On the patio an array of tables and chairs, couches, lounges, and sun umbrellas beckon guests to sit back and relax.
